Counselling & Support
The Living Well counsellor is someone you might choose to talk with if you:

  • have concerns and worries about living with HIV;
  • feel you can’t talk with anyone else;
  • feel you need support;
  • want to change some aspect of your life;
  • feel isolated and alone; or
  • have other HIV related concerns.

  • How does it work?

    Counselling works for many issues and sessions usually take place once a week and last for fifty minutes. Counselling is confidential, non judgmental and your counsellor works with and for YOU.

    How can you get a counsellor?

    Referrals to the Living Well counsellor can be made through organisations and healthcare professionals, or you can refer yourself. If you have any questions or would like to refer yourself for an initial session please feel free to contact us.
